به گزارش کارگروه بین‌الملل سایبربان؛ بنیاد پژوهش‌های ملی قطر و یکی از سازمان‌های پژوهشی پیشرفته در ترکیه، برنامه جدیدی برای تقویت انعطاف سایبری قطر طراحی کرده‌اند. این برنامه بر سه درون‌مایه تمرکز می‌کند و به چالش‌های مشترک امنیت سایبری قطر و ترکیه می‌پردازد؛ چالش‌هایی از قبیل امنیت ابر داده، سامانه‌های امنیتی دستگاه‌های موبایل و برنامه‌های موبایلی، امنیت سایبری زیرساخت‌های حیاتی. بودجه این برنامه به طور مشترک توسط بنیاد پژوهش‌های ملی قطر که بخشی از بنیاد پژوهش و توسعه قطر است و شورای پژوهش‌های فنی و علمی ترکیه (TÜBİTAK) تأمین می‌شود.
تعدادی از متخصصین صنعت روباتیک و هوش مصنوعی در سراسر جهان با ارسال نامه‌ای سرگشاده به سازمان ملل متحد خواهان ممنوعیت توسعه و استفاده از روبات‌های قاتل شدند.
ایلان ماسک، مدیرعامل تسلا و اپن. اِی.آی (Open AI) و مصطفی سلیمان (Mustafa Suleyman) از الفبت (شرکت مادر گوگل)، به تازگی گروهی 116 نفری از متخصصان هوش مصنوعی از 26 کشور دنیا را رهبری کرده و خواهان ممنوعیت سلاح‌های خودمختار شده‌اند. این افراد در اجلاس بین‌المللی مشترک هوش مصنوعی (IJCAI) نامه‌ای سرگشاده را به سازمان ملل متحد ارسال کرده و هشدار داده‌اند مسابقه تسلیحاتی ایجاد شده در زمینه‌ی ساخت روبات‌های قاتل باید هر چه سریع‌تر متوقف شود. متخصصان توضیح داده‌اند که مسابقه‌ی یاد شده بعد از باروت و سلاح هسته‌ای، «انقلاب سوم جنگ‌افزارها» را به وجود می‌آورد.
